Delighted to say my new board is up and running! Just one minor panic at first switch on with the continuous low beep, but that turned out to be caused by a few jumpers I'd missed.
Congratulations! Really pleased for you - its such a great feeling to do all the work and finally get that lovely bur-beep! The jumpers also got me as on this board, some of the soldered jump connections on the original are not actually in place in this replicate board, where as others are. So I ended up going through the advanced guide top to bottom on all the jumper settings to be sure.
I'd like this one to be my 'modern' beeb (i've got an untouched original)... Is there a thread on cases and keyboard options that would help me? have seen some cool photos but not sure where to buy from.
Yes, those might be my pictures, here is a thread with more details on it viewtopic.php?t=27174. Tbe only downside is you do need to build the adapter board for the BBC yourself, which requires some SMD soldering. I failed on my first attempt, but got things mostly working on my second board. The author is unlikely sadly to make them as there is not much demand - glad though he shared the PCB designs and BOM so others can make them if needed.

As far as cases go, I have lot of ideas in my head but yet to embark on a design (and learning the design software etc). What I want is something clear so I can mount it on the wall and all the peripherals to by wireless (hence I went down the above route). Right now Its in a box waiting for me to get to this next phase - i am excited to get started on it tbh - just know its a whole new hobby area for me so need a run of time to focus.
