32-bit acorn hardware • A3000 ICS ideA IDE interface

Following on from this post viewtopic.php?p=445988#p445988 (sorry for the thread hijak Ken!) I was wondering if anyone has had success using an ebay 40 pin IDE -> CF or IDE -> DOM on the ICS IDE expansion pictured here? I want to grab as much of my 120MB hard disk image as I can as its starting to become corrupted

If i could attach a 2nd IDE drive and format it that would be perfect but don’t know even if this port could power a drive for example.
