I've bought the components and removed the old ones.
I think the capacitors were probably okay, but R325 was reading 150ohms instead of 180 and there were visible signs of it getting hot.
However, C312 was fitted with a 1000uF capacitor instead of a 220uF. I'm not sure is this is because the monitor is a 1451 rather than the more common 1431 and I've heard that some of the components can be different. (For example, TR301 was fitted with a TIP220 instead of a BC337).
Would a higher value capacitor cause the pin cushioning? I'm not sure whether I should replace C312 with a 1000uF or a 220uF as per the service manual.
