I did originally look at doing a map but even just drawing an outline map of Great Britain took around 5k of memory (and that was in MODE 1, so there's the screen memory to deal with also), to draw constituency maps seems like it would be beyond the capacity of the Micro. Even for teletext screens, they're 1k each so 650 of them would be 650k!I was going to joke about The Night Owl having a live results map in Teletext graphics, but maybe this is already on your radar. I guess that the constituency boundaries might prove challenging, but then you could adopt the "proportional" maps that represent constituencies with equal size, usually with hexagons, although that might also prove challenging. Are you tired of looking at fancy hypertext pages with graphs and pie charts for your election results? Worry no longer, because now you can browse them the old-fashioned way, on your BBC Micro!
