The Duke of Sussex (upstairs in the Chichester or Petworth Room from 6.30pm)

Visions of the Impossible were a group of programmers that produced various games, demos and utilities for RISC OS in the 90s, with their most well known releases being Sunburst and Super Foul Egg
VotI team leader Nathan Atkinson is joining us to talk about their history and tell us some behind the scenes stories. This will include details of how they came to port The Bitmap Brothers classic Chaos Engine to RISC OS, and going in the other direction with the port of Starfighter 3000 to the 3DO console.
There will also be a look at some of the products that didn't quite make it, such as Simisu San and racer Eat my Dust, the final unfinished game before VotI closed down in 2002. Plus there will be info about the project they were working on with Acorn, provisionally titled DeathRacer 4000, before it all went bad
Our venue is right next to Waterloo Station and there is parking directly outside. Directions here - https://rougol.jellybaby.net/venue.html
