I'm wondering if anyone else can reproduce this:
If I use one of the January Windows builds from here, enable Music 5000 under Settings, and then start B-Em up at 500% speed using
I get a popup warning: "sound: unable to attach mixer to voice for Music 5000".
If I start up using -sp8 instead of -sp9 (that's 400% emulation speed rather than 500%), this popup does not appear.
This has been interfering with my unit tests. The simple workaround is just to disable Music 5000 before running the test script, but I was wondering if this happens for other people, or if it is peculiar to my setup.
(The tests have thrown up a few issues relating to rapid startup / shutdown of Allegro and the emulator in general; I already had to patch a race condition to achieve test execution without segfaulting.)
