It is quite helpful actually, because I hadn't even got as far as thinking how I might implement a "feature" which works out the next available package and then invokes it. More than likely it will have to be a machine code utility as I don't think there would be any other way of doing it whilst Inter-Word is running. Intercepting OSWRCH is a good idea, I've done that sort of thing before when I have wanted to get information which can only be got from *HELP.
It's a shame they deleted the Segment Menu which comes with Wordwise Plus from Inter-Word, probably there would have been a way to do it using that. Funnily enough, pressing 9 on the Inter-Word main menu is recognised, but it just re-draws the menu.
