Well, there's fresh and freshly made from a packet, or freshly frozen - I'd buy components from a reputable source e.g. Mouser, RS, DigiKey, Farnell, CPC, Arrow, Rapid, AVnet (is also CPC/Farnell but can be much cheaper)
