As you may be aware, I've just recently repaired a faulty beeb. This involved removing a significant number of ICs, including the two ICs I needed to remove as part of this little project. Details in this thread:

Since IC37 and IC40 are both now socketed, I decided to try out my new clock & the replacement IC37 / IC40 boards that allow me to inject the 16MHz and 6MHz clocks back into the beeb motherboard.
And to my surprise, it's working perfectly. Mode 7 graphics are pin sharp via my RGBtoHDMI with no shimmering. I don't even need to do a calibration. The default settings (which I selected from the Menu) work perfectly. If I do a calibration, it completes very quickly and the screen is still perfect. Edit: It turns out I did need to do a calibration. When I powered off and back on again the text was shimmering again until I did the calibration. Now that the calibration is complete and saved, it comes back with a perfect picture on a power cycle.
I'm going to leave it running overnight to see if temperature has any impact, but very pleased with the performance so far.
