Bumping to a less obtuse post subject, Clock Signal is an emulator of the Archimedes. Here's the first-run setup instructions as an animated GIF:
macOS builds are here, on its GitHub page. I also try to support Linux via either SDL and Qt though its binary Snap distribution is presently in need of revivification. Updates potentially to come.
It is intended for people who have particular bits of software they want to use which happen to be for the Archimedes. So although you can File->New... your way into an emulated machine and do whatever you'd normally do with an Archimedes, it is better optimised for launching interesting pieces of media. Note in the example GIF above, the user double clicks 'Lemmings' because they want to play Lemmings. This happens to be a first-ever launch of the emulator so it asks for an image of RISC OS. It won't do that again. Once it has one, it starts an Archimedes with Lemmings inserted then automatically navigates to launching the game itself.
Being still-nascent, it currently emulates only the ARM2 instruction set, with 4mb of RAM. It'll initially emulate a fast Archimedes but automatically transition to a slower model if the software in use appears to assume one. So you'll get a high-resolution floor in StarFighter 3000. But you'll also get a sensible frame rate in Zarch. Without any manual configuration.
It doesn't currently support hard disk images and has nothing like HostFS. It's disk images only. That's one notable drawback; since our lives are finite I'll decline to list them all.
---
Acorn bonus: it also emulates the Acorn Electron, ummmm, including hard disks. Trope inverted?
