Out of curiousity, whats the go-to method for taking the unsoldered IC's and getting them to fit the sockets reliably?
I picked up one of these boards recently to salvage a too-far-gone A3000 but i've not been able to find any info/pictures/videos on the pin bending process.
Pin bending? What? No pin bending required. Properly desoldered, all that's ever needed IMO is sometimes a light wet&dry 'sanding' to ensure all the leg edges are solder-free, then they drop right in to the sockets on the new board. If you're finding you need to bend anything, you've likely got the desoldering very badly wrong.
