Our production units are built on WROVER-E chips. These have 8MB of PSRAM, as well as 8 or 16MB of Flash memory.
E.g. some of our targets are built on the DevkitC-VE unit, while some of the Commodore targets use a Lolin-D32-PRO.

The user port would be interesting, but if I may propose an alternative approach of using the 1MHz bus with an RP2040 as the front-end? This would get us something really fast, with auto-booting capabilities, amongst other potential features.
