Hello. I am hoping to get some advice on navigation (no, not a nautical question). I bought and installed a BooBip 64K EEPROM module. It came preloaded with four game ROMS, and works fine. Now I need to load different ROMS. I am using a Gotek as my only drive. I I downloaded RTool and put it on my flash drive. I downloaded Gerald Holdsworth's Disc Image Manager to my Windows PC. With this I created an AcornDFS image and copied a ROM into it. The image is saved as comm.ssd, and the ROM inside is Commsta. The image was then copied to my flash drive. I saw the following on the BooBip website:
*OPT4,3
*BUILD !BOOT
CHAIN"RTOOL"
L:0.R.RT102
P4
Q
<ESCAPE>
I substituted P1 for P4, and tried what I thought would be the correct location for the ROM, but failed. It erased the existing ROM from the EEPROM, so I know I am on the right track. Could someone please advise me on the correct syntax for line 4, so that RTool can find and load the ROM named Commsta in comm.ssd?
Thanks in advance,
Colin
