Or a crimp on (female) cable connector, remove the bracket that crimps the cable down and solder to the edge of the PCB, that way it stays 'inline' like the one pictured. This does require a custom PCB tho, as the connections from the connector are offset by 50mil/1.27mm.It seems like you could make one of these (albeit in not quite as compact a form factor) using a right-angled 34-pin connector soldered to a custom PCB?
The other option is a female PCB mount connector as are commonly used to stack boards together.
