Yeah, I asked around and the i2c/USB dongle is specific to program the OTP of the IC on the board, it was my assuming that as it's just i2c it could be programmed via any i2c bus device. It's a fair old time ago as the software was WinXP/Vista era, apologies for the hallucination ![#-o]( "d'oh!")
