I love this year's competition!
I sit down and write a program to display the snowflake, optimised to the nth degree, and then have a brain wave. I rewrite the program to use an amazing technique and find at the end it is exactly the same length as the one I had previously written. Hours of thought lying in the bath or sitting on the loo and I reduce the program length by 1 byte.
