I managed to get it working with 27256 eproms, but do have some 128 on the way. The 74ls10 chip I removed from an old pcb is faulty and my fdd drive sounds like it is trying to work, but when I do a *cat or format it just locks up the Elk. Thanks for the details of the solder pads, I will make sure to change them, fit the new 74ls10 and try again.
