I’ve being trying to write such a thing in python on my Mac (well, prodding an llm to write it). It reasonable at guessing if track 0 looks normal (for DFS or ADFS), if the rest of the tracks match track 0, if it’s single or double sided, if the sides match or not, if it’s 40 or 80 track. It creates a shell script you can review, modify or run to create HFEs, or regular disc images.
But it and I and greaseweazle don’t get on with each other, so it doesn’t work properly, HFEs generated don’t work in b-em.
