Another update - This time I've added a proper "fog". The map is black until you have "seen" it but you only see detail when it is within visible range. It might be nice to "remember" things that can't move - so trees/roads etc. but that will require a logic rethink and/or some new plot routines. The eventual intention is that would be driven by the units/buildings on the map rather than the cursor.
