Mine also snapped along the red line. It seemed solid enough but it snapped when I left the flap open for a while.How?! There's only minimal force from the spring. Are you bending up the whole peg to attach the spring? I just worked it around the gaps without bending the part at all. It all seems solid enough as per original to me, even printed in PLA.
