Is there any difference between Slot 0 on an A5000 backplane and the other three slots?
The issue is a Cumana SCSI-II card works fine in Slot 0, fails POST in Slots 1 and 2, and crashes the machine on boot when it's in Slot 3. Other Podules work fine in any slot, and there's no issue with the ROM.
I've repaired the backplane previously, it had battery damage and a few broken traces -- so I'm not ruling out the possibility of other faults. I'd just like to rule out "certain cards only work in certain slots" type issues (like the RISC PC only providing DMA to the first two slots) before I go on a wild goose chase.
