Disadvantages: I think you can't load SSD's to drives 1 and 3 directly, you need to make DSD's to load to drives 0 and 2.Willing to be corrected here but I'm pretty sure you could use MMFS2 with this, doing away with the mmb file.
Been using MMFS 2 for quite a while now with my IFEL board and so far not found any disadvantages...
