Seeing this referenced here, I might note that the code on the board is SK0000,185 which can be found in the sketches section of Acorn's designs, listed as "B SPEECH CARTRIDGE PCB" with an issue of B, as opposed to A on this board. So, I guess it was revised at some point.

As for the "B" in the entry itself, it seems to refer to Project B, which was the Master series, judging from other entries. There's a lot of interesting stuff in there!
Has anybody found or reverse-engineered a schematic, or even just a functional diagram? Most of the code to create a sideways ROM to drive it would be simply cloning most of the Speech code from the BBC MOS.
