It looks like ADFS 1.53 doesn't check the FS map checksum? Is this expected? I noticed this while trying to use the ide0.dat file supplied with BeebEm - the checksum for its sector 0 is invalid, but ADFS 1.53 actually seems not to mind.
Disc Image Manager rejects the file, as does my own ADFS extraction tool. And attempting to use the same image with ADFS 1.50 produces the Bad FS map error that you'd expect.
The checksum is updated correctly if the disk is modified.
