No, it isn't deterministic as the flip-flops in the video ULA are not reset on power on so they could be in any state. I guess Acorn could have specified a monostable to reset the flip-flops on power-on. I am interested to know what the implications of this change in phase of the 1MHzE has on anything.What causes the shift?
I would have thought the logic side would be deterministic, so the same on every start up.
