The code runs more than fast enough to keep up with translating the largest possible per-sample movement in a HID report in to the corresponding number of quadrature moves.The mouse gives a number for x and y movement. Easy for a digital system to move the mouse on the screen x or y pixels. Tranalating into pulses could be done a number of ways, I'll just try it and see.
