Is this the version supplied for the DTI modems-in-schools project, or a later one?

If the former, then knowing all the commands may not help that much as some of them didn't work! Notably, it had a 1200 pseudo-full-duplex mode that wasn't reliable, but you could run in V23 (1200/75) mode and manually switch the direction to write your own pseudo-full-duplex protocol externally - which is what we did for Interspan.

I may be able to extract some of the detail from the Interspan code, though I think I've only got source code for the answering end of the link not the dialling end (and I haven't looked at that source in 40 years, so it may be a stretch....).
Hi there, i have the exact same modem and hoping to get online with it. Problem is it came without a cable. It has a DTE port on the back of the modem and i think this needs to connect to the RS423 on the back of the beeb. Any ideas on how i can source the correct comms cable for this please?

Much appreciated.

KR Ian
