I shall have a look at the !UniBoot link posted. However I recently bought a 16-bit IDE interface from IanS, which had a folder called Uniboot. Extracting that and using it as my !Boot folder, then running !NetSetup does seem to allow !InetSuite to run without errors, after I set Slot 0 Ethernet 3 and gave an IP address and net mask. I don't know what Serial PPP does, so I've left it alone. I'm unsure about many of the other settings, but I gave myself a host name of localhost.
That didn't appear to give me internet, although it may have given me LAN. However in the rommodules list, Ether3 is now unplugged, along with InternetA and Netmsgs. That feels ... worse perhaps. Only bootnet is active.
