BBC SDL has assembler modules for IA-64 and ARM

https://github.com/rtrussell/BBCSDL

Beyond me, but it would be nice to have this as a useful cross assembler, especially if someone reimplemented the IA-32 assembler which is marked at TODO. ( I am wondering if it's absence is due to the commericaly available BBC Basic 4 Windows however.)

(The other architecture someone might be interested in is something like RISC-v or SPARC. in terms of modern systems.. I doubt many people are going to want 68K or PowerPC function these days.)

I'd also be interested in seeing if someone thought it was feasible to add modules to allow for 6502, Z80, and 32016 and IA16-omf assemblers, to support assembly for co-processors.

It's often forgotten that BBC BASIC can be capable macro assembler, and having a capable (and powerful Macro assembler) from the BBC SDL codebase would be very interesting ( Others on Stardot have already written assemblers for various TUBE platforms.).
