Thanks indeed for this lot. Been having a tinker. Can I ask, please: How can I save?

Typing "SAVE" as per page 87 of "Forth on the BBC Microcomputer" lists the 'screen' ending with an "OK?" prompt, but typing "Y" generates "SAVE ? Can't open or extend file".

This occurs with write-enabled 'disks' both on an Electron with MMFS and also on BeebEm with a known working program - namely, the STARS example of page 7 entered via "PROGRAM" into a screen, e.g., 9, with the command "0 P : STARS BEGIN 42 EMIT 2 SPACES AGAIN ;" and tested via "9 LOAD STARS".

I believe "can't extend" is a disk error but I don't appear to have any other disk problem: I can load and run files from the disks in the original post; and I can perform disk tasks such as cataloguing with OS' CAT. I can also save BASIC programs to the same disks without issue.

The SAVE command works fine on the Electron (diskified) cassette version.

Any pointers from anyone out there very much appreciated, thanks.
