Thanks for the recommendation Dominic. I’ve just upgraded my work Mac and will be taking the opportunity presented by moving from USB-A to USB-C to replace two ten year old 10 port “Keynice” VL812 based hubs, which have mostly worked OK over the last decade or so. Mostly because they will occasionally and randomly power off overnight, leaving half my test devices uncharged. Often this goes unnoticed until they’re needed and it’s quite frustrating having to wait for half a dozen devices to get enough juice to power up, just for a thirty second test. Also, no PD support so everything charges slowly.
