8-bit acorn hardware • Refurbing a Winchester HDD

Hi everyone.

Would anyone know if it's viable to refurb a Winchester 110 HDD to it's original state?

I have the opportunity to acquire one of these units but it's HDD is missing. So I'd like to somehow find an original HDD and get it up and running with my BBC B.

The other option of course is to use a BeebScsi in replacement to the drive, but I'm a romantic sort.

What would I need to be able to get it up and running?

Any help would be appreciated.
