Thanks for doing this! Looking forward to the result.

I understand the MIDI section pretty well, but I still have very little clue as to what the extra two connectors do and how they do it.

One is DINSYNC - for clocking drum machines, arpeggiators, etc. The other would really be better brought out as a couple of separate jacks. It has sync to and from tape, clock in and a foot switch input. Page 49 of the manual has the details and pinouts.
