FireTrack (BBC Master) working!
Thanks to the amazing disassembly of the game (https://www.level7.org.uk/miscellany/fi ... sembly.txt) I was able to leverage a nice configuration easter egg from Orlando! If you have SRAM the game looks for a special signature to override the keys and/or joystick handling code. Makes me wonder what he had connected as a joystick during development?
Download the attached image, and along with a standard version of the game you will find !FTADJI. Simply run this via *!FTADJI and boot the game as normal (ensure SRAM 7 is empty). There is no need for any patching/JKEY/JSETUP commands etc - this is reading the joystick interface directly. It also hard codes to &FCC0 at present (so make sure your dip switches are set accordingly). The source code can be found here (https://github.com/fozretro/firetrack-adji). I will add a command line parameter to configure the ADJI address next - meanwhile let me know folks.
p.s. My adapter still has the on screen glitches - if there is a compatible firmware I am happy to try that.
