In 1985 stilled seems good value considering price of 2nd processors / shadow boards with much less Ram, and that it includes a drive, controller and E00 DFS.
Agreed. With regard to RAM pricing and the march of progress, it is unfortunate that Acorn didn't make some provision for using 256-kilobit devices in their 64-kilobit memory machines.
