I've never had a Cub monitor before, so I'd appreciate some general troubleshooting advice in this regard before I start tinkering with it (and I'd rather limit the amount of tinkering I do with CRT monitors...)
I've recently been given a Cub that otherwise works fine, except it's far too bright. The black background is a light grey (eg MODE 7 screen after switch on), it's so bright. The focus isn't great but I suspect this is because the brightness is so high.
I've done the obvious and taken the back off it to find the brightness potentiometer (I'm not sure why this isn't an external control like it is on other monitors) but it's already set to the minimum.
