And if this is an A5000, put Wizzo (which is the IDEFS Ian suggested earlier) on a ROM in the 5th column socket - then the on-board IDE will work with whatever... This is by far and away the easiest approach with an A5000 and doesn't require something that can boot in order to soft-load it, doesn't need podules, you can have two devices on the internal IDE (master/slave), and multiple partitions.
