I just wanted to reply to this post, I've now completed the replacement using a Noctua fan. Items that I bought were:

Cable; to allow me to create the cable from the motherboard to the fan connector - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/155838128669

Noctua Fan; the correct size, it comes with screws etc and mountings - https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00VXTANZ4? ... asin_title
Fan Filters; replacement fan filters, these are actually washable as well - https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0BWNGGLT6? ... asin_title

Essentially I created a new cable using the new connector and a cut from the fan power splitter cable. This then meant that the Noctua Fan was a straight replacement. I fitted the filters on either side of the fan.

The replacement works really well, very quiet and a perfect fit... would recommend this to anyone else wanting to do it.. as a good way.. as it doesn't actually interfere with what's there at all and you can return it to factory if you wish..
