Borrowed entirely from Elite, you will now be told which rank you reached at the "Game Over" screen. Testing this was fun and also resulted in my highest score yet and the first time I've broken the 100k score barrier. The rank is based on how many levels you get through, currently if you make it to level 30 then you get "Elite"
Down to 533 free bytes now, 192 of those will be taken up by the new "boss" alien, so not a lot free
