I’ve now replaced my MMC with a micro version that plugs straight into the user port and created a very short (plugs are basically back to back) cable for my pitubedirect (so it sits under the front bottom of the beeb) so I don’t have any cables hanging out the front (printer and floppy cables run underneath to the rear)
That leaves me with one issue I can think of and that’s sound. I’d like to disable the internal speaker and run the sound to either the SCART or my amplified speaker to give me full volume control
I really need a solution that needs no soldering (and is easily reversed) so my thought is to just disconnect the internal speaker and run leads to the rear to either feed into a SCART lead or to my amplified speakers
My question is though, is the output level from the speaker connectors too much for SCART or amplified speakers and so would need to be reduced somehow and if so how could I do this please?
I’ve read the forum, and found various clever solutions, but am really looking for the simplest possible solution
Any thoughts please?
Many thanks
Tony
