I agree, I dont think that the battery voltage is the issue as 3.3 is enough to maintain it. And, in fact it is being maintained, because it eventually comes back randomly and everything is still there.
Someone commented that there is a fix for a particular version of the clock chip which he had to do some work on some of the logic lines, Retroclinic refers specifically to this problem with the Terminal= being displayed.
Anyway, thank you for taking the time to help if I discover the reason I will report back with the fix at some point. BM came up with some interesting points which are worth checking out. But I have now passed the master to someone else and hes going to be looking at it now.
