Sorry. Yes I was referring to ic48 pin 8. Interference makes sense.

Good to know the lumpy 6 MHz on SA5050 TR6 pin is normal too.

As for 15.6 kHz on those 5V pins, is there an explanation for that - or might the chip be hosed? I couldn't find shorts from any other 5050 pins to those four weird ones. Only other thing I wondered was if there was a short on one of those pins (or connected r103 leg) to some other track on the board. But that feels like a pretty long shot. I've not encountered shorts developing over time on old and seemingly unworked board before.

All other inputs look okay on SAA5050 AFAIKT.

I have some SA5050s on order so I wonder if replacing it is the next thing to try. Anything else to check before I do that?
