I actually don't have any 4GB micro SD cards at all, the smallest is 8GB apart from the rogue 128MB one I showed. I was looking last night at some of the usual places and it seems difficult to get any size smaller than 16GB now. You can get 16GB "MyMemory" ones from them for under £6.

I wonder if it's worth testing some of these memory cards with a standard Raspberry Pi OS image install on them, Raspbian etc. and if the Pi Zero doesn't boot to a command prompt or desktop with that installed, it's unlikely to work with PiSCSI either I would think.
