Just wanted to check - is anyone working on this in the background? If not then I've been playing the C64 version loads recently so I'd like to claim it for my next beeb project. I had already started a platforms-and-ladders game anyway as a learning exercise, so rather than the additional cognitive load of trying to create an original game, it might as well be something tried-and-tested... The original game can come later! It will be a while before I have anything working to show, and I'm sure I will have some really stupid questions about timers and interrupts.
Day zero, though, is playing with beebspriter for a few minutes (btw, thanks Rich T-W, and also the team who worked on the updated version which plays much nicer under Wine)
