I sometimes wish for a "SRDELETE to wipe a sideways RAM bank (not least, when swapping OS versions in a Master with MultiOs).
And then it struck me, just write any old rubbish into the RAM bank and, as long as it doesn't have a "(C)" at the appointed location, the OS won't recognised it as a ROM.
So, actually, it's quite easy to blat a bank:
