Wow, I had a quick look and was really impressed by the new bomb item and the zero-G behaviour. It's incredible what you've managed to achieve here, after coming in knowing nothing Apparently the Beeb author originally wanted to create a game with a lot more features so I think he'd approve of your additions!I thought it would be interesting to extend the game engine a bit. There is now a bomb element and zero-gravity behaviour. These have been added into a new set of caves which I’ve called the +1 version.
Still find it frustrating on a BeebI’ve also checked the key / movement sensitivity and made some tweaks which I think make the game more playable using BeebEm, though it’s probably not perfect. It continues to play well on a real Electron, especially with a joystick.
Yeah... I don't think that'll be happening at my end. You remember how I shifted the screen layout around about a dozen times, in order to squeeze everything in and make it look as optimal as possible? Am really not going through all that again. Not fair to keep moving the goalposts!The cave editor probably needs to catchup with some of the changes from the BD2 and +1 versions at some point!
I will get back to addressing compiling the different versions into one package though. I figured I should cross the older (Qwak) project off my list before I got to that though
