Well firstly PAGE moves so it would have been more sensible to maybe put something in the FFXX area and have that as the location. Or even better any run address starting FFFFFXXX isn't run but instead a service call is passed round. Hindsight is wonderful isn't it. There's a few other things I'd have liked with files (stdin, stdout, stderr as handles etc). But the os was put together by a very small team working to time and cost constraints so it was never going to be perfect. The fact that filing systems were as good as they were when pages ROMs were more or less an after thought I'd amazing
