I do like "price includes coiled cable"! Er, thanks guys, for including that essential component for free...

The very first ad for the case had a price of just £39. I couldn't figure out why they immediately increased it to £49 the next month, without saying it was an introductory offer or something. But... the first advert listed the coiled cable as an extra-cost option. Within a month they must have got complaints from people who didn't realise they needed to buy the cable.
Why might anyone want this setup without the cable? Well, there is actually a thin slot on the back of the keyboard unit for a ribbon cable, so the keen DIYer could make up their own cable and save a few quid. More evidence of the budget-conscious approach of this product.
