8-bit acorn emulators • BeebIt 0.77 Released

BeebIt is a freeware BBC Micro computer emulator for RISC OS versions
3.00 and above. It emulates the Acorn BBC Model B, BBC Model B+ and
BBC Master range of computers. BeebIt will now run on all RISC OS
computers from RiscPC to the Raspberry Pi.

The following improvements have been done since 0.76 to give better
memory management and have better compatibility with more games.

Version 0.77 (02 Nov 2024) enhanced by Crispian Daniels

- Storing shadow memory in RAM order. Allows Acornsoft Maze v2 to display correctly in Master mode.
- Made B+, Master and Master Compact ROM paging faster by moving 16 KB copy operations to the opcode 07 interface.
- Fixed ADC values when Joystick is not being emulated. Stops cursor moving by itself in Colossus Chess 128K.
- Fixed Mouse-Joystick emulation in display modes that are not 1280×1024 OS units.
