Although there's a scan of "Master Operating System : A Dabhand Guide" at bbcdocs mirror, having bought a copy in nice condition I thought I'd have a go at making a scan too.
So for a limited time only the deskewed, tidied up, 600dpi, individual page, PNG scans are in my dropbox
A copy of the original disc is on the flaxcottage archive - see this thread
I thought I'd have a go a remastering the document. The scans of the separate pages were OCR'd, joined and loaded into Libre Office Writer. This was printed and proof-read. Twice. Any corrections of mine, along with those noted in pencil in the book, have been marked in the document with a yellow highlight (mostly!). Code examples throughout have been tested in MAME, fixed and returned to the book in working order (as best I can tell). The document has been lightly-formatted.
However, I have to admit defeat. I've neither the skill nor the patience to go any further with it.
So I attach a PDF of the work so far, along with a disc image of software examples 'typed' from the book itself. If you provide feedback in this thread, I'll endeavour to make the corrections and upload them here in due course. If anybody wants the Writer document to make and and share a remaster - please ask.
If there's any legitimate objection to this being available, please let me know and I'll take it down immediately.
